Coach Maddie Hood enters her 4th year at Coppell. She currently serves as the CMS North Girls Athletic Coach / Math Teacher. Coach Hood brings 8 total years of coaching experience. Her past coaching experience includes 4 years at Coppell North as a Head Volleyball Coach. An impressive track of success, Coach Hood lead 4 teams to qualify for USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. 

As an athlete, Coach Hood played Volleyball at Coppell High School as a Setter with tremendous accolades including 2x Academic All-District / Second Team All-District. She went on to University of North Texas earning a Communication Studies degree followed by Masters in Business Administration. 

Away from coaching, Coach Hood enjoys Reading (on a kindle) and fun fact, she  rode dirt bikes until she was 13. Her favorite quote, “The Man in the Arena” - Theodore Roosevelt 

CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Hood responded “I coach because I love growing kids as human beings and I think that athletics is a great avenue to do so.”
