Lindsay Stivers
Lindsay Stivers teaches iExplore and coaches volleyball, girls wrestling, and girls soccer at Coppell Middle School West. A Coppell High School graduate, she was part of the Cowgirls’ 2011 and 2012 state championship volleyball teams, including the 2012 team ranked No. 1 nationally by MaxPreps.
Stivers earned degrees in Psychology and Youth and Family Ministry from Abilene Christian University, followed by a master’s degree in Social Work. She is also a licensed master social worker. Her coaching honors include Middle School Girls Coach of the Year, and she has led West girls wrestling to four consecutive All-City championships.
Stivers coaches to build athletes’ self-esteem, deepen their knowledge and love of the game, and help each student become both a better competitor and a better person. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends—and can quote nearly the entire movie “The Emperor’s New Groove.”
