Lindsay Stivers
Coach Lindsay Stivers enters her 2nd year at Coppell. She currently serves as the Teacher / Coach at West MS. Coach Stivers brings 1 total year of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes CMSW as Asst 7th VB, Head G Wrestling, High Jump Coach (Asst Track), and Head G Soccer. An impressive track of success, Coach Stivers posts 1st Place in Girls Wrestling All Cities Championship (First in CMSW History!)
As an athlete, Coach Stivers played volleyball (DS) and softball (2B/SS) for CHS. She also played beach volleyball outside of school during high school. She earned tremendous accolades including I CHS volleyball state championship in 2011 and 2012 and was the MaxPreps #1 team in the nation in 2012. She received Academic All State her senior year and was Selected to play for the 2014 district All-Star softball team. She went on to Abilene Christian University earning a Psychology (BS) and Youth & Family Ministry (BA) degree followed by Social Work (MSSW) - Licensed in Social Work (LMSW) masters degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Stivers enjoys Spending time with people she loves and fun fact, she memorized almost 200 digits of pi in 6th grade and still remembers them to this day. Her favorite quote, “Live every day like it's someone else's last. ”
CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Stivers responded “I coach to establish positive relationships with my athletes, build the self-esteem of my athletes, and increase their knowledge, skills, and love of the game. I am humbled by and never take for granted the unique privilege that coaches have to help our athletes experience growth and development both on and off the field. My goal is to have every one of our athletes become a better athlete and a better person as a result of their participation in our program.”
