Coach Kelsey Ireland enters her 2nd year at Coppell. She currently serves as the Tennis Coach at Coppell Middle School East. Coach Ireland brings 2 total years of coaching experience. 

As an athlete, Coach Ireland played Tennis, girls doubles with tremendous accolades including  High School Girls Doubles State Championship. She went on to play Club tennis at University of Texas at Austin earning a American Studies degree.

Away from coaching, Coach Ireland enjoys traveling with her husband, especially international trips. And fun fact, she won a plank competition against fellow fitness teachers with an 8 minute plank. Her favorite quote, “You've got to do your own growing, no matter how tall your grandfather was " – Irish Proverb

CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Ireland responded “I coach to inspire athletes to achieve their goals on and off the court. Tennis builds leadership, integrity and teamwork, and I love seeing my students grow these skills.”
