Kelsey Ireland teaches eighth-grade U.S. History and coaches tennis at Coppell Middle School East. Before joining Coppell ISD, she spent eight years teaching in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD and one year in Irving ISD. Her work in the classroom earned her a nomination for the 2022 Humanities Texas Educator of the Year award.

A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in American Studies, Ireland has also pursued graduate study in American History and Government at Ashland University. A former high school state tennis qualifier, she has guided East to three consecutive undefeated district championships.

Ireland coaches to help students grow mentally, physically, and emotionally while developing a genuine passion for the game. Outside of school, she enjoys playing tennis, running, reading, walking her dogs, and cheering for the Texas Longhorns and Texas Rangers.
