Coach Kate Seifert enters her 10th year at Coppell. She currently serves as the 7th grade science teacher, volleyball/basketball/track coach. 

As an athlete, Coach Seifert played Volleyball at Coppell High School. She went on to University of Arkansas earning a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching degree followed by Masters of Arts in Teaching.

Away from coaching, Coach Seifert enjoys reading and fun fact, she was once on Hootie and the Blowfishes tour bus with the band. Her favorite quote, “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Seifert responded “I coach to help kids grow not only in their sport but in their life skills. We have an amazing opportunity as coaches to build relationships with kids that will last past the time they are in our programs.”
