Coach Jeffrey Nwankwo enters his 4th year at Coppell. He currently serves as the Teacher/Coach at Coppell Middle School West. Coach Nwankwo brings 5 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Victoria ISD Stroman Middle School. An impressive track of success, Coach Nwankwo posts a district championship in basketball 2021-2022 for boys 7th grade. 

As an athlete, Coach Nwankwo played basketball at Hightower highschool. He played forward with tremendous accolades including District champion, and all district player. He went on to play basketball at Texas State University earning a Family and Consumer Affairs degree.

Away from coaching, Coach Nwankwo enjoys Basketball and fun fact, he likes to watch crime shows, and make budgets for others. His favorite quote, “Keep on trucking ”

CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Nwankwo responded “I coach because I love sports and I know I can impact children's lives.”
