Coach Garrett Barley enters his 6th year at Coppell. He currently serves as the Girls Volleyball, Basketball, and Track Coach and North Middle School. Barley brings 6 total years of coaching experience. 

As an athlete, Coach Barley played Basketball at Community High School. He went on to University of North Texas earning a History degree followed by Educational Leadership masters degree. 

Away from coaching, Coach Barley enjoys watching movies and cooking; he is a huge movie buff.. His favorite quote, “My belief is stronger than your doubt.” – Dwyane Wade

CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Barley responded “Being able to help shape and mold the next generation is my why I coach.”
