Katrina Adams serves as a Physical Education Teacher and coaches cross country, basketball, and track at Coppell Middle School East. Before joining Coppell ISD, she coached girls AAU basketball and led teams to multiple tournament victories.

Adams earned her degree in Exercise Science from Texas Wesleyan University. She played college basketball at Paul Quinn College, where she was a leading scorer and earned Ms. Basketball honors for the 2001–02 season. As a high school forward, Adams was named her team’s Most Valuable Player and selected as a Dallas ISD All-Star.

Adams believes a coach can be the guiding light who helps athletes discover their inner strength, resilience, and determination. She enjoys encouraging students to believe in themselves and recognize what they can accomplish through consistent effort.

Outside of school, Adams enjoys playing sports, watching basketball and football with family and friends, and adding to her collection of athletic shoes.
