Coach Edward Menner enters his 3rd year at Coppell. He currently serves as the Athletic Coordinator at West MS. His past coaching experience includes Garland ISD as a coach/Teacher. And he Privately Owned/Operated a Training Business.

As an athlete, Coach Menner played at Garland HS - Baseball - 2nd base, and Tennis with tremendous accolades including 4 years of Varsity Tennis including a State Tournament appearance. He went on to UNT earning a Communication Studies degree.

Away from coaching, Coach Menner enjoys working out, and fun fact, he loves chocolate milk and roller coasters. His favorite quote is, “It's a perfect day to make a difference.”

CISD Athletics is filled with coaches who care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Menner responded, “to help develop young men and women student-athletes into better become better student-athletes, leaders,  the best version of themselves, and win at life.”
