Kacy Maddox



Coach Kacy Maddox Perry enters her 1st year at Coppell. She currently serves as the Assistant Girls' Basketball Coach and Assistant Softball. Coach Maddox Perry brings 8 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Performance Course: Strength Coach 2015-2018; Lawler Middle School: Head Girls' Basketball, Head Girls' Soccer, Track Coach 2018-2019; Frisco Centennial: Girls' Basketball Varsity Assistant, Softball 2018-2022; V. R. Eaton High School: Girls' Basketball Assistant Coach, Softball 2022-2023. An impressive track of success, Coach Maddox Perry posts Regional Quarterfinalist 2019, two Division I and multiple NAIA Girls' Basketball Players coached. 


As an athlete, Coach Maddox Perry played Basketball - Shooting Guard & Small Forward  with tremendous accolades including Byron Nelson "Lord Byron" Leadership Award and Performance Course "Athlete of the Year" twice. She went on to Texas A&M University earning a Psychology degree followed by M.Ed. in Educational Psychology, emphasis Athletic Leadership & Positive Coaching.


Away from coaching, Coach Maddox Perry enjoys Working Out or Traveling with her Family and fun fact, she didn't spend a full school year in the same state until the 8th grade. NFL brat. Her favorite quote is, "The most effective way to do it is to do it. The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” -Amelia Earhart


CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Maddox Perry responded “I coach because organized school sports provide the perfect set of circumstances for athletes to practice leadership and build confidence to serve them far beyond high school.”
