Jacob Garrison
Coach Jacob Garrison enters his 1st year at Coppell. He currently serves as the JV Basketball and Assistant Cross Country coach. Coach Garrison brings 3 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Maypearl High School - Assistant Basketball and Track and Keller Fossil Ridge - Assistant Basketball. An impressive track of success, Coach Garrison posts Area Round of Playoffs at Maypearl for Boy's Basketball.
As an athlete, Coach Garrison played Basketball at Burleson Centennial High School. He went on to serve as a Student Assistant at University of Texas at Arlington University earning a Political Science degree followed by Public Administration masters degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Garrison enjoys Hiking and being outdoors. His favorite quote, “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today." - Malcolm X
CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Garrison responded “I like building relationships with athletes and want to make an impact on kids. Coaching gives me a chance to work with students doing something we mutually enjoy .”
