Rebekah Grissom
Coach Rebekah Grissom enters her 7th year at Coppell. She currently serves as the Asst. Volleyball Track coach. Coach Grissom brings 7 total years of coaching experience. An impressive track of success, Coach Grissom posts 2018-2019 Girls Track and Field Champions.
As an athlete, Coach Grissom played Volleyball - OH/MB(4 years), Track - Shot/Discus (4 years), Basketball - Forward (2 years), Softball - Catcher (1 year) at Ranchview High School with tremendous accolades including Volleyball MVP, Offensive Awards. Track and Field MVP, Outstanding Field Event Awards. She went on to lettering in shot put, discus, and javelin at University of Arkansas at Little Rock earning a History/Secondary Education degree followed by Curriculum and Instruction masters degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Grissom enjoys Road trips and fun fact, she has vivid, reoccurring dreams about dinosaurs. Her favorite quote, “"I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious." - Michael Scott”
CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Grissom responded “I coach to pay forward what my coaches did for me growing up. I want to create a positive space for athletes to be their best selves.”
