Rebekah Grissom serves as an Assistant Volleyball and Girls Track & Field Coach and teaches World Geography at Coppell High School. Before moving to the high school staff, she spent seven years at Coppell Middle School West coaching volleyball, basketball, track and field, soccer, and wrestling. Her teams earned a middle school track and field district championship, and she was named Coppell ISD Middle School Coach of the Year.

Grissom earned a degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Dallas Baptist University. She competed in shot put, discus, and javelin at Little Rock and remains among the program’s all-time leaders in all three events.

Grissom coaches to pay forward the mentorship and guidance she received as an athlete. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, road trips, and time with family and friends; she has driven the entire length of Route 66.
