Heath Naragon
Coach Heath Naragon enters his 2nd year at Coppell. He currently serves as the Football/Powerlifting coach. Coach Naragon brings 15 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Lampasas High School, Asst Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, Powerlifting, Wrestling; Lewisville High School, OL coach, JV Baseball, Wrestling. An impressive track of success, Coach Naragon posts 2019 State semi-finals, 2019 Dave Campbells coach of the week, and coached Kyler Murray, Tyrell Shavers, Trinity Benson, Denzel Okafor.
As an athlete, Coach Naragon played Football and Baseball at Lewisville high school with tremendous accolades including 1st Team All District, All Area in Football. He went on to play OLine at Midwestern State University earning a Kinesiology degree followed by Administration Leadership masters degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Naragon enjoys Hunting. CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Naragon responded “I think that coaching is a calling and you have to have a tremendous amount of passion for it to be able to do it well. I have had a lot of coaches inspire, and motivate me to become better at whatever I am doing, not just athletics. I hope to do the same for all the student athletes that I coach.”
