Ravyn Terry

Coach Ravyn Terry enters her 2nd year at Coppell. She currently serves as the Girls Basketball Varsity Assistant, Girls Track Assistant. Coach Terry brings 9 total years of coaching experience. Her past coaching experience includes Middle School Coordinator Denton ISD, Girls Basketball Varsity Assistant Denton High School. An impressive track of success, Coach Terry Coached the 22-23 Junior Varsity girls basketball team at Coppell High School to a 25-2 record; Assisted in coaching the Varsity girls basketball team at Coppell High School to the 2023 UIL State Championship Tournament with a 38-4 record.

As an athlete, Coach Terry played basketball at Wakeland High School with tremendous accolades including 2nd Team All-District, 1st Team All-District, Texas State Finalist. She went on to University of North Texas earning a Recreation, Event, and Sport Management degree.

Away from coaching, Coach Terry enjoys Extreme Couponing and Movies and fun fact, she played the tuba in middle school. Her favorite quote, “Change your mind, change your life.”

CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Terry responded “I coach because I am called to do so. Coaching allows me the opportunity to give back to my community. I coach because I truly enjoy cultivating and maintaining relationships with the youth and inspiring them to be great. Lastly, I coach because my athletes teach so much about myself and inspire me daily.”
