Marie Smith
Coach Marie Smith enters her 2nd year at Coppell. She currently serves as World Geography Teacher & Asst Softball Coach. Coach Smith brings 8 total years of coaching experience. Her past coaching experience was in Florida.
As an athlete, Coach Smith played Softball Catcher. She went on to Southeastern Oklahoma State University earning a History degree followed by a School Counseling masters degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Smith enjoys Reading and fun fact, she has been to Cuba.
CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Smith responded “I coach to share my love of the game with others.”
