Maxine Lisot

Coach Maxine Lisot enters her 2nd year at Coppell. She currently serves as the Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach, Teacher. Coach Lisot brings 5 total years of coaching experience. Her past coaching experience includes Assistant Varsity Coach at Independence HS in Frisco ISD; volunteer coach at Plano East HS in Plano ISD. An impressive track of success, Coach Lisot posts 2022 5A Girls District Team Champs, 5A Girls Region Team Runner-Ups; 2023 6A Girls District; 2023 District 1-6A Asst Girls COY; Coppell 2023 Asst Girls COY; coached Jess Mendez-Gil, full scholarship to ASU for girls wrestling; coached multiple district and region champs, and state qualifiers and placers.


As an athlete, Coach Lisot participated in Karate with tremendous accolades including State placer. She went on to the Karate, Team USA, -55kg kumite at UT Dallas University earning a B.A. Psychology as Magna Cum Laude followed bya  Masters in Education.


Away from coaching, Coach Lisot enjoys Barbell training, jujitsu, and spending time with her fierce and independent 4 year old daughter. Her favorite quote, “You become a champion by fighting one more round.  When things get tough, you fight one more round.” -James J. Corbett


CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Lisot responded “Coach with tough, tender love; Respect, trust, and communication go both ways; Passionately believe she will win on the mat and in life.
