Coach Link Davis enters his 2nd year at Coppell. He currently serves as the PE Teacher CHS9 & Boys Wrestling Assistant. Coach Davis brings 26 total years of coaching experience. As an athlete, Coach Davis was part of the Wrestling, Football, Track & Field, Soccer, and Baseball teams. He went on to Wrestle at University Central Oklahoma earning a Education degree followed by Educational Leadership masters degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Davis enjoys Playing video games. CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Davis responded “The experience of coaching allows me to extend my leadership skills to boys and girls who enjoy the sport of wrestling. Building the athlete’s self-esteem, motivation, and success, instills the value of hard work. Developing these skills early in life will be beneficial into adulthood.”
