Jonathan Drori

Jon Drori serves as the Head Swimming and Diving Coach at Coppell High School and has led the program since 2022. Before joining Coppell, he coached with Life Time Swim Dallas and O2 Performance Aquatics.

Drori earned his degree in Biology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he competed in NCAA Division I swimming in breaststroke, individual medley, and freestyle events. He helped NJIT win an East Coast Athletic Conference championship and served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons. Before college, Drori was a two-time New Jersey Junior Olympics state champion.

Under his leadership, Coppell’s boys and girls teams have earned consecutive district runner-up finishes, while the boys placed second at the 2024 TISCA meet. The program has also produced six All-American swimmers and earned Academic GOAT recognition. Drori was named the 2023 District Dive Coach of the Meet.

Drori’s personal mission is to make a positive difference each day. He uses athletics to help students become the kind of adults others will value as neighbors, teammates, and leaders.

Outside the pool, Drori enjoys swimming, longboarding, following Manchester City and the English Premier League, and attending rock, metal, and dance concerts.
