Coach David Roulston enters his 3rd year at Coppell. He currently serves as the TE's football and Wrestling assistant. Coach Roulston brings 5 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Panhandle High School, Assistant football, Head powerlifting, Assistant Track.

As an athlete, Coach Roulston played Football (OL) at Randall High with tremendous accolades including First team All district, Honorable mention All State. He went on to West Texas A&M University earning a B.S Sports and Exercise Science degree.

Away from coaching, Coach Roulston loves to travel and has even lived in Edinburgh, Scotland. His favorite quote, “Life is to short to be around boring people”

CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Roulston responded “To help prepare the next generation for life. To teach them basic qualities and to help them on their journey on figuring out what they want to do with their lives.”
