Coach Abubakar Conteh enters his 3rd year at Coppell. He currently serves as a Football and Soccer assistant Coach. Coach Conteh brings 3 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Coppell Middle School North. 

As an athlete, Coach Conteh played Volleyball, Soccer, and Basketball. He went on to play Football  at Grambling State University earning a Kinesiology with  minor in biology degree followed by Administration  masters degree. 

Away from coaching, Coach Conteh enjoys spending time with his wife and sons. Fun fact, he earned an HBCU National Champion even though he didn't play football until college. His favorite quote, “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.”

CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Conteh responded “I want to give back to the one thing I believe helped mold me into the people I am the most, I look forward to passing down the knowledge I've gained over the years and build healthy relationships with our present and future!”
