Stephen Morris
Coach Stephen Morris enters his 4th year at Coppell. He currently serves as the Head Boys Soccer Head Coach. Coach Morris brings 17 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Mineral Wells - Head Coach; Colleyville Heritage - Varsity Assistant; VR Eaton - Head Coach; Coppell - Varsity Assistant/Head Coach. An impressive track of success, Coach Morris posts District Coach of the Year and Multiple Future Collegiate Athletes.
As an athlete, Coach Morris played Soccer and ran Track with tremendous accolades including All District. He went on to play Soccer at Cal Lutheran University earning a BA History degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Morris enjoys Hiking and fun fact, he has 7 kids. His favorite quote, “Plan B is to do Plan A but better!”
CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Morris responded “I coach because I love the game and helping kids understand, improve, gain confidence, and push them to be the absolute best they want to be. I want to instill confidence and leadership in each player, that brings me joy.”
