Eric Hill
Coach Eric Hill enters his 5th year at Coppell. He currently serves as the Head Track and Field and Asst FB (Running Backs) coach. Coach Hill brings 22 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Ranchview High School-Head Track/Football-DC, R.L Turner HS-Football DC, Bishop Lynch HS-Football-Co DC, Grapevine MS-Boys Athletic Coordinator . An impressive track of success, Coach Hill posts District 11-3A two District Champion/ Coach of the Year, District 6-6A two time District Champion and 2022 CISD Head Coach of the Year.
As an athlete, Coach Hill played Football- QB, WR, DB, Basketball-Point Guard, Baseball-Center Field, Catcher, Track and Field-Hurdles, LJ, HJ, Relays with tremendous accolades including Football- All District DB, Track and Field Regional Qualifier. He went on to UTA earning a Education, Leadership and Policy Studies degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Hill enjoys Backyard Bar-B-Que's and fun fact, he is a Yacht Rock Club Member. His favorite quote, “Eddie Would Go!” -Eddie Aikau)
CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Hill responded “I Coach to equip student-athletes with the necessary skills and motivation to move from where they currently are, to where they can eventually be. This will never happen without my ability to forge meaningful relationships that allow me to be real, honest and open with them about their attitudes and performances.”
