Armando Garza
Coach Armando Garza enters his 5th year at Coppell. He currently serves as the Head Baseball Coach. Coach Garza brings 10 Years total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Varsity Assistant at Western Hills; Varsity Assistant Benbrook HS; Varsity Assistant Coppell HS. An impressive track of success, Coach Garza posts 2017 Bi-District Finalist; 2018 - Bi District Finalist; 2019 - Regional Semi-Final Champions; 2021 - Regional Quarterfinal Champions; 2022- Regional Quarterfinal Champions; 2023 - Bi-District Finalist.
As an athlete, Coach Garza played Baseball centerfield at Plainview High School, with tremendous accolades including 1st Team All-State. He went on to play Baseball at Wayland Baptist University earning a Kinesiology degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Garza enjoys Spending time with Family and fun fact, he Got to spend a summer playing baseball in Europe.
CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Garza responded “To lead young athletes to become better men through the game of baseball.”
