Armando Garza serves as the Head Baseball Coach at Coppell High School and enters his seventh year with the Cowboys baseball program. A graduate of Wayland Baptist University with a degree in Kinesiology, Garza believes baseball is a tool for developing young men of character.

Before arriving at Coppell, Garza helped launch Benbrook High School's first varsity baseball program, contributing to multiple deep playoff runs, including regional final, regional semifinal, and regional quarterfinal appearances. Before coaching, he spent a summer playing professional baseball in Europe, an experience he credits with broadening both his perspective and appreciation for the game.

When he's not on the field, Garza enjoys spending time with his family.
