Jason Spoor
Coach Jason Spoor enters his 5th year at Coppell. He currently serves as the Head Boys Golf Coach. Coach Spoor brings 31 total years of coaching experience. His past coaching experience includes Angleton Middle School, Assistant Football Coach; A&M Consolidated High School, Assistant Football Coach; Harker Heights High School Offensive Coordinator; Prosper High School Offensive Coordinator, Head Golf Coach; and Byron Nelson High School, Head Track & Cross Country Coach. An impressive track of success, Coach Spoor posts Football: 170 wins, multiple playoff appearances, 1 State Championship; Golf-3 State Tournament appearances, Cross Country-8 State Meet appearances; Track-12 state medalists coached including 4 state champions.
As an athlete, Coach Spoor played Football and ran Track with tremendous accolades including All-State Gunner in football. He went on to Texas A&M University earning a Kinesiology degree.
Away from coaching, Coach Spoor enjoys Fishing and golf and fun fact, he can speak 3 other languages.
CISD Athletics is filled with coaches that care. When asked “Why you coach”, Coach Spoor responded “I coach to help kids improve and be the best they can be in the sport they love.”
