Jason Spoor serves as the Head Boys Golf Coach and teaches Spanish at Coppell High School. He has been part of Coppell Athletics since 2018, first as an assistant golf coach and then as head coach. Spoor earned his degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University.

Before focusing on golf, Spoor built a wide-ranging coaching career in football, track and field, and cross country. His accomplishments include 170 football victories and a state championship, four golf state tournament appearances with a state title, eight cross country state meet appearances, and 12 track and field state medalists—including four state champions.

Spoor competed in football and track at Angleton High School, earning all-state recognition as a special-teams gunner. He coaches to help young people improve and become the best they can be in the sport they love.

Outside of school, Spoor enjoys fishing and playing golf. Already fluent in three languages, he recently achieved his goal of learning a fourth after studying Italian.
