Chip Lowery serves on the Coppell High School wrestling staff and leads the Physical Education program, bringing more than three decades of coaching experience, including over two decades in Coppell ISD. A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Physical Education, Lowery believes coaches have a unique opportunity to help young people become strong men and women, a philosophy shaped by his own experiences as a student-athlete.

During his career, Lowery has earned more than 450 dual-meet victories, multiple district and regional championships, UIL Top 5 finishes, induction into the Texas Wrestling Hall of Honor, and the THSCA Lifetime Achievement Award for both boys and girls wrestling. Outside of school, he enjoys building projects and spending time outdoors.
