Coppell Volleyball continued its strong run through the second half of district play Tuesday night, sweeping Berkner 25-5, 25-8, 25-7at CHS Arena. The victory marked the Cowgirls' third consecutive district win and improved their record to 18-10 overall and 7-4 in District 7-6A.

Players and fans wore pink in recognition of those affected by breast cancer, while each Cowgirl selected a teacher who had made a difference in her life. The players and their chosen teachers were introduced together before the match, giving the program an opportunity to recognize the educators who support its student-athletes both in and out of the classroom.

The victory completed Coppell's season sweep of Berkner. In their first meeting on Sept. 18, the Cowgirls won 25-8, 25-9, 25-9. Tuesday's performance was even more decisive, with Coppell allowing just 20 points compared to 26 in the first matchup.
Coppell's subvarsity teams also enjoyed success. JV swept Berkner 25-4, 25-12, while 9A won 25-16, 25-12. The 9B team did not play.
